INTRODUCING A NEW CHEQUE SYSTEM
Starting January 2026, all commercial banks under the Finance Department (FD) will be introducing the new 'cheque' system. This is part of the Massive Reform plan introduced by Admin OKITO LIM.
REPLACING THE "OLD EMAIL" TO SEND CASH
Before the new cheque system, users will need to send an email to their respective banks, or use a simple unsafe Google Forms to fill up their details. Users are being exposed to unauthorized transactions. This has to be stopped.
SECURED AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN EDL, BASKETBALL BANK, BANK OF LUX
Instead of spending on another box that wastes money, space and environment, the Finance Department reached out an agreement with EDL, Basketball Bank and Bank of LuX - where all of these three parties' services can be used in a single EDL postbox.
Not only this can save up money, space and the environment, but also it increases the relationship between the agencies of QQ, organizations of QQ and members of QQ, while reducing bureaucracy and increase productivity. Admin OKITO LIM's commitment proves that under the Massive Reform plan, the reputation between agency will be respected by the members of QQ.
IT IS PLAIN SIMPLE
By using cheques, banks can increase productivity time of transactions, while reduce bureaucracy compared to email or Google Forms. Cheques can also increase security and to prevent fraud, such as using signatures in cheques to approve a payment transaction.
