Become a Discord staff moderator
(Batch 2026)

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Discord staff moderator. The Communications, Information and Digital (CID) Department is ready for more. That’s why we need some “smart brains” to manage our Discord server.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Spend at least 1.5 hours a day filtering the Discord server, this includes capturing and removing unnecessary messages.

• Ensuring that the members in the Discord server follow the rules set by the CID Department.

• Answer the questions asked by the members, including the homework category, based on your expertise in that particular field.

• Create and make announcements.

• Slow and stop if conflict occurs.

• Warn and ban members accordingly, fairly and accountably.

• Protect and uphold the image and reputation of the Discord server, the purposes of the agencies of QQ and the Sovereignty of QQ Care Centre.

• Record any suspicious activities and report it to the Discord admin.

• Attend Discord staff moderator every month, at least once a month, with senior staffs, admins and Admin OKITO LIM, the Admin of QQ Care Centre.

• Have some fun! Message the members in the Discord server and get to learn more about them!

SALARY, DURATION OF WORK AND BENEFITS

• Basic: QQ$10,000.00 per month (for MOQs) / RM50 per month (for outsiders)
  NOTE: We practice "we don't have to owe you anything", so you will be paid with the basic before the month of your shift starts.

• Shift: 3 days a week (customizable)
  1 hour in the morning, 30 minutes at evening (GMT +08:00)

• Overtime: QQ$90.00/RM1.00 per 10 mins (MUST be authorized by the CID Department in order for overtime initiatives)
  At the end of the month, you will be paid with your applicable overtime and bonuses.

• Staff discount on MagasinerQQ™ (if applicable).

• Learn new Discord skills with admin and senior staff moderators for free.

• 2-week before exam study paid leave until the end of your exam (maximum of 3 weeks exam week covered)

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

• Anyone can join, but members of QQ will be prioritized.

• Active inside the QQ Care Centre Discord server for 2 months.

• Have a commercial bank account under the Finance Department (for MOQs) or PayPal (for outsiders).

• At least 13 years of age (under Discord's Terms).

• Able to allocate at least 1.5 hours of time for 3 days in a week, regardless of holiday or PdP week.

• Minimum contract of 6 months.

• Meet the academic requirements.

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS

• MOQGK TEST
  Grade B (Credit)

AND any one of the following:

• KSSM Form 1 to 3 (only for under 17)
  Pass in Mathematics, Sejarah (History), Bahasa Melayu & Credit in English in ANY of your exams, regardless of 'Jom Sedia', trial or actual.

• Singapore Sec 1 to 4 (only for under 17)
  Pass in Mathematics and any other 2 subjects & Credit in English in ANY of your exams.

• KSSM Form 4 to 5
  Pass in Mathematics, Sejarah (History) and any other 2 subjects & Credit in English and Bahasa Melayu in ANY of your exams, regardless of trial or actual SPM.

• GCSE O-Level (Singapore/Brunei/Indonesia/UK)
  Pass in Mathematics and any other 2 subjects & C-6 in English in either trial or actual.

• STPM
  Grade C in Pengajian Am and 2 other subject in ANY semester, regardless of trial or actual.

• GCSE A-Level (Singapore/Brunei/Indonesia/UK)
  Grade C in 3 subjects in ANY semester regardless of trial or actual.

• Other form of academic qualifications
  CREDIT in 3 subjects or CGPA 2.50 subject to our discretion.

We need you to meet the requirements above to answer the questions in the 'Homework' category. Prepare result slip or prove during the interview.

HIRING PROCESS

1. Go to https://forms.gle/ALcvK5E5TK3hCZeLA and fill in the form.

2. You’ll receive a message about the date and time of the interview and might be invited to join a channel. Shortlisted candidates will be notified within 2 weeks. Please message @qqcarecentre on Discord privately if you did not receive any updates.

3. On the day of the interview, dress properly (if possible) and prepare your latest exam results (blur out sensitive info such as candidate and ID number).

4. Once the time starts, and you got confirmation from the admins, join the voice channel or voice chat.

5. There might be several candidates too on that day. So, we’ll interview one-by-one. You might need to wait a while.

6. When your name is being called up, turn on your mic and introduce yourself.

7. We’ll ask you some questions after your introduction.

8. After answering our questions, you’ll need to turn on your camera to let us see if you’re a real human or not. You’ll also need to show your exam results on the camera.

9. Once your interview is ended, you can leave the voice channel.

10. You’ll receive confirmation of hiring in less than 2 hours. If you’re selected for the team, welcome aboard!

11. You’ll join a voice channel again for the oath of the Discord staff moderators.

12. You’ll then finally be able execute the duties starting IMMEDIATELY.

PRIVACY POLICY

You will agree to allow the server admin(s) or/and staff moderator(s) to record the entire interview. You will also consent that the clip can be used for any purposes. The clip will be protected under QQ rules Penal Code 50 Act 2021 (Privacy Protection of Data Act).

“I, [real full name], Discord username _____________, will solemnly swear that I’ll faithfully become the staff moderator of the QQ Care Centre Discord server. I’ll execute the duties in which I’m about to enter and be responsible for all of the tasks that I shall be liable for. I will do the best of my ability to manage this server in the most fairness, integrity and rightful way as possible. I’ll defend the Constitution of the RULES OF QQ and the 12 MOTTOS OF QQ, protect the name, image and reputation of this server and uphold the Sovereignty of QQ Care Centre.”
